I got an awesome opportunity thanks to my friends Kam Redlawsk and Steve Panicara to head up to Big Bear one weekend to shoot the promo for the 2012 Bike for Kam Fundraiser.The event is about a group of friends getting together for the journey, for the cause, for Kam, as they ride their bikes from San Francisco to Santa Monica. The purpose of their journey is to raise funds and awareness for Kam, and for all those afflicted with HIBM (Hereditary Inclusion Body Myopathy). Through this project, the hope is to raise awareness of HIBM, so that we may soon find a cure for this rare genetic muscle debilitating, and degenerative condition. A cure is within reach!
